This exam must be taken and passed by all master’s degree candidates in the last semester of their degree coursework in order to graduate with the Master of Music in Composition from Azusa Pacific University.

Students with adequate skills as determined by the diagnostic entrance exam may take electives other than piano. Elective courses may be selected from any of Azusa Pacific University’s graduate programs with the approval of the associate chair of graduate studies. Courses must be numbered 500 or higher.
