The entry-level master’s option in healthcare administration and leadership prepares nurses for early to mid-level management and leadership roles in a variety of healthcare settings. Students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to lead and manage a team of healthcare providers in organizations, functioning in areas such as operations management, project management, and healthcare consulting. The program emphasizes competencies needed for graduates to apply for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) nursing leadership certification exams.

Students must have the equivalent of one year of RN clinical experience prior to enrollment in GNRS 567 Healthcare Administration and Leadership Supervised Practicum.
