The biblical and theological formation minor is embedded within the APU Core general education program for traditional undergraduate students. Students who enter the program as freshmen will complete all the requirements for the minor and will be able to choose whether to officially declare it. Students who would like to declare the minor must fill out the Minor Update form on the Office of the Registrar website. 

This minor helps students dive deep into Scripture, explore life’s biggest questions, and integrate faith and learning as they prepare to live out their higher calling. 

Requirements

Students may substitute courses from the prior GE program for the first four requirements in the course list below as follows: 

• MIN 108 Christian Life, Faith, and Ministry may be substituted for CORE 100
• UBBL 100 Introduction to Biblical Literature: Exodus/Deuteronomy may be substituted for SOT 150
• UBBL 230/235/240 Luke/Acts may be substituted for SOT 200
• THEO 200, THEO 301, THEO 352, THEO 354, or HUM 325 may be substituted for SOT 250
