The Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics sponsors a drop-in tutoring center for assistance with mathematics, physics, and statistics courses. Housed in Segerstrom Science Center (Room 170), the Math Center provides an out-of-classroom setting where students gather to actively learn and teach math, physics, and statistics. The room is fully equipped with computers, white boards, and work spaces. Skilled student tutors staff the center for free walk-in tutoring Monday-Thursday throughout each semester.
Students are encouraged to regularly work on their homework at the center, knowing that help is nearby should it be needed. For more information, contact the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics at (626) 815-6470.
