Office of Innovation
The Office of Innovation founded Zuventurez to raise up entrepreneurs and their Kingdom-focused startups from the Azusa Pacific University community–undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni. Zuventurez provides founders with interdisciplinary resources, education, and coaching from the moment an idea is born to well into the organization’s growth phase.
Dream. Build. Launch.
An entrepreneurial training program and startup pitch contest, Zuventurez PITCH is administered, taught, coached, and judged by Christian startup founders, angel investors, and business professionals. Student and alumni teams validate their business ideas and problem statements by competing against one another to earn a $15,000 first-place prize.
Zuventurez INCUBATE offers student and alumni teams who have some traction (e.g., business revenue and/or user growth) the opportunity to utilize APU-hosted workspace, weekly workshops, and a weekly dinner where our program participants hear about the experiences of seasoned startup founders. The program introduces startups to donors and angel investors who have the opportunity to fund a seed round.
Imagine the next Mark Zuckerberg coming out of APU, not only with a sustainable business and a philanthropic spirit, but also with a heart for Jesus Christ and a desire to expand the Kingdom.
